Amaryx Shard

Like all the shards cast across the surface of the planet when the Traveller Stone landed, the Amaryx originated far, far away. In the swirling clouds above a nameless moon, substances were created and changed and destroyed over billions of years or in the blink of an eye. One of those substances attached itself to the Traveller Stone and this elemental shard eventually landed in the midst of what would become Zern territory. The original shard has long resided in a wooden temple, protected by a cadre of elite warrior-monks. The Zern believe that, through worship, they can harness the power of this beautiful, foreboding shard. This allows them to enter a ‘berserker’ state within battle, during which they feel no pain and strike with great swiftness and might.
