Corthyst Shard

As the Traveller Stone flew through a great asteroid field, the Corthyst shard was imbued with constituents of the floating astral bodies that predated any planet. These unique ingredients caused the flickering purple and blue shapes that can be seen within the Corthyst shard to this day. The holy teachers of the Vanorasi contend that – when the shard was uncovered by their antecedents – tribe and element were forever united. They teach that the shard’s ancient origins have given their people great wisdom, intelligence and patience. By devoting themselves to their sacred element, they in return have earned the ability to analyse foes, uncovering weaknesses swiftly. The corthyst shard is kept in a deep, underground temple, and revered not only by warriors, but by all Vanorasi.
